I agree taking a Vette to a body shop is considered a special thing to them (at least around here)
There are certain percautions involved and special products to be used. Also bodymen use these cars to brag about how good they are.
Now if your shop has done before getting information from other vette owners could prove to be extremly valuble.
What I did is I went straight to the best body shop in the city saw some pictures asked, questions and talked to other Vetters...Turned out Ive got other bodymen admiring my paint job (no kidding and I thought it just looked good)
