Default Spending money - Feels good though!

Well the money spending on the LT continues (Not due to a "no choice" scenerio). Recently purchased alternator general rebuild and bearing kits (a whole $25.00 or so) and rebuilt the original alternator. Ordered a new white soft top from AL Knoch and now have the LT at the upholstery shop for it's install. Also going to have the shop repair a bead seem on the original drivers leather seat. So with all that, going to be around $850.00 + lighter in the 'ol wallet. But it's a good feeling

Anyone else been spending money on there LT this winter??

Steve

Steve: you're making me feel bad!!!4 new shocks, purchase and install correct carb., choke, linkages and fuel lines, new rear brakes and suspension with new leaf spring, u-joints, original radio rebuild, repair oil leak which ruined front carpets which were replaced, 4 new tires, rebuild water pump, remove and recore radiator, repair heater switch, paint and detail front engine, paint chassis, new correct mufflers , repair parking brake, replace numerous engine gaskets, speedometer cable repair....and on and on..........

So far I have 7K in the car. I keep telling myself it's a keeper.

Well if it's any consolation, I most likely will be spending cash-ola on a radiator refurb. It's the original, there's no problem(s) with it right now, but like the alternator rebuild a little preventitive maintenence is better than having a problem out on the road.
It is amazing how quickly the costs can add up though.

Steve

Default No Wonder......

It needs a paint job! Tell her she's supposed to sit "inside" the car, NOT on it!
