Default Ac Delco Reac_tec Shocks

i have a set of these on the way......should be here monday i hope.
the question is , is there a big diffrence between the reac-tec and the performer?
the sales guy told me they no longer were making the performer and that the reac-tec is the replacement. thanks

I can't compare them never having had the Performer. I have the Reactec and like them.

I also have a new set of rae tec's on my 70. No comparision since I never had the Performer shocks.

Painted the shocks light grey as original and installed. Definite ride improvement and they look a lot better then the yellow monroe's that were in there.

I put the ReacTecs on my 82 late last year. For the price, you've made the right decision. They seem ideally suited to the car.
