79 belt alingment/diagram

I'll tell you, I don't know why belts, pullys and brakets (alingment) is such a pain in the butt when you put in a new motor, combined with some aftermarket (replacement) parts, namely power steering pump and water pump. All pulleys are factory correct as I believe the vette has a unique, deep grove pulleys and certain specific water pump shaft, ears, configeration. I recently asked about proper 79 water pump, and there were several different answers, debates, so I hope I am not too alone, and don't sound too stupid. here's my problem.

motor was just built to a 383, when I installed the water pump, The crank pully sat .90 behind (inward to block) the water pump. The w.p. is flush and fac. correct, so I am working everything from the w.p. (right?) I can't recess the w.p. any more, so I have a spacer, that is balanced, machined .90 between the harmonic balancer the the crank pully, OK now crank and cam-w.p. are alinged. I can't find a diagram for the routing of belts for a sbc (no air pump) what is the proper format. I have 3-grove crank/2 grove w.p./single grove alt and p.s. pulleys. and a/c pulley.

going from the crank pulley, Is grove 1 (starting from block for the sake of discussion) crank, w.p., alt -

grove 2 crank, w.p., a/c -

grove 3 crank, power steering.?????

I went and looked at mine, its an 80
3 groove crank pulley, on the first groove (closest to block)
goes around the crank, alt, water pump (it has 2 grooves)
2nd groove on crank (moving out toward the fan)
goes around the crank, water pump (outer groove towards fan) and the AC
and the last crank groove nearest the front of the car
crank and power steering

I don't have the air pump in mine, and my alt has 2 grooves

thanks for lookin, thats what I got now, every thing looks dialed in now, I can't see anything being off by more than a 1/16th. I don't know why but everything looked (pulled motor 2 mos ago) so different. In hindsight, a couple of digital pics probably would have helped. but thanks to some buds, You you gave confirmation, Thanks again

P.S. damm, I hate them GM press-on power steering pulleys!!
