Default DynoMax Headers

Just wondering if anyone here has the Dynomax Jethot ceramic coated headers ??

I had a set of headman , with out the jethoat coating and under the hood definatly has been more then warm.

I just ordered the Dynomax set today, so I wanted to see if anyone has seen good results with them. They were only $239 opposed to most of the other jethot coated sets I saw were in the 400-500 range.

The Dynomax Cerama are ideal for SB & flow much better than is commonly known.

Any thoughts on the Hooker ceramic headers?
For the same price as the aforementioned DYNOMAX headers?

Sorry about hi-jacking your post.

Let me know how the DYNOMAX headers work out for you. I am trying to decide on what headers I should get. Where did you get the headers from... SUMMIT???

Default Great results

Hey guys, I installed a set of Dynomax ceramic coated headers on my '74 383 stroker and am very pleased with the results. They look great, flow good, leave ample space around the plugs, and best of all really have reduced the temp. in the engine compartment. I think people tend to disrespect these headers because they don't have the "brand name recognition" of other exhaust systems but they are missing out on a quality product. This of course is in my very humble opinion. peace

I think these headers are sweet. They have 1 5/8" primaries, which are not only good for torque, but they are also small enough that you can use lock washers on all of the bolts. This is a big plus, because you won't have header bolts that are constantly loosening and leading to burnt header gaskets, and the annoying exhaust ticking that goes with it. I highly recommend them.

I installed Dynomax coated headers on my 383. They are great. I had to ding one tube on plug #4 so the big MSD plug boot would fit. Other than that they fit fine. i had posted the photo's previously on the ding. I can e-mail the photo if need be. Fred.

You can find the photo,s under "Look what I had to do to my new headers" by searching on this site. FC.

I put mine on myself. I meant to wire them in place in the engine compartment while I lowered the motor into the car, but I forgot, so I had to snake them into place after the engine was in. I don't think I had any problems doing it this way, but that was 4 years ago, so I don't remember exactly. However, I can say that I have no clearance problems with the spark plugs and wire boots, so I didn't have to dent them. If you plan on installing them with the engine in the car as I did, you'll probably have to drop the starter and clutch cross shaft (if applicable). Well, maybe not the starter, I can't say for sure. I would take a look at mine, but it's at my bodyman's house, getting bodywork and paint prep work.

I put the Dynomax Ceramic COated headers on my ZZ4 and they work beautifully. They are still pretty to look at too. The only "quirk" I can think of is regarding AC, if you have AC be sure to get the bracket they sell that makes mounting a lot easier.

Already pulled.
So I guess no quirks for me.
Thanks for the input.
