Default Seat Belt Question

The Seat belt clasp ( if that's the right word) is backwards on my drivers side belt. When I put it on The belt is twisted.
Any idea on how to turn it around?

Default Do you mean the shoulder / lap part?

If that is the part that is twisted, you will have to fold the webbing strap in half and work it through the clasp to get it to lay on the right side. It is a PITA.

This was a pet peeve with me.
When Kenny drove the 78 I was constantly re-twisting the strap to get it to lay correctly. Now that I drive the 78 I am very careful to not let the belt get twisted in the first place.

I do notice that when the belt hangs at the top, the buckle is just about touching where the webbing retracts, and as I pull it across my lap I don't have to pull out any more belt. (I'm skinny) When Kenny drives, he must pull out more strap for the belt to lay across his lap, and when he exits, that extra webbing hangs down and can easily get tangled and twisted when he next gets in and just yanks the belt.
This can cause the strap to twist in the buckle and become the problem you have.
