What did you think of this month's Vette magazine 'Special Price Guide Issue' valuation of your LT-1. Would you sell it for the value they listed?

I thought the values for most of the cars in the list seemed fairly close to what I've seen cars actually sell for (not that I'm an expert).

I did think the value for an LT-1/Air car was a bit low, but I'll admit to some personal bias on the matter. :D

I actually thought they seemed high. I'd put all three cars up for sale tomorrow if I could get what they printed. I'm being realistic about the condition classification of each car, too.
Call my LT-1 a #3. Add in the hardtop, and it's just shy of $30,000 in the price guide. I didn't get one serious buyer last summer at the $25,000 I was asking. I think their gap between a coupe and convertible is rather large, too. $8000 sounds like a little much. If the verts were $2000 lower and the coupes were $2000 higher it would sound about right to me.

Robert

In the latest issue of Vette magazine there is a several page spread of Corvette prices. If I knew how, I would gladly scan them and send them to you, but at this point the computer still has the upper hand! Sorry!

I think the numbers are low as they represent values nationally. I think here in the N.E. they are higher. Proteam is selling 72 LT-1s in #1 condition for over $40k for a vert and about 5k less for a t-top.

Robert N: send me your email address and I'll gladly scan the article.
