Has anyone had any problems with defrost not working due to vaccum hose? Does anyone have a diagram of lines?

Never had the problem you mention due to vacuum lines. Dr. Redbuild, ZIP and Paragon(I think) offer diagrams of the vacuum systems. All are pretty good.

Sort of on my '69. But in my case I discovered that when the control was set to 'defrost' the air came out the lower vents, and when set to heater it came out the defroster vents. Turns out that at some point someone had hooked up the vacuum lines backwards on the actuator behind the dash.
