Default Loss of power.

Out in the Vette the weekend, annoying the eurobox owners and ricers, when the engine coughed for a second and now feels very flat. No engine check light has come on, and I've checked the Plugs, leads etc and all seem to be fine, burning a bit on the rich side but thats about it. Any idea's before I start ripping the engine managerment apart?

It still see's off a Jaguar XJ-S 5.3 V12, but seem's to be struggling to do so now, and reluctant to rev above 3600 rpm when under load.

Bit bemused why it hasn't set a check light, any component failure should do so. Hmmmmmm.

Any Idea's would be gratefully recieved, I'll let you know the results.

Default Go to the local muffler shop

and have a back pressure test done on the cats.. they might have started clogging.. has the tone of the exhaust changed.. slightly?
