Default Can anyone check a 69 in Volo ,IL for me?

Was wondering if anyone from IL who can help me out on checking a car for me? I wish I could do it myself but this is not an option. This is my first purchase and I would hate to have this car shipped and find something wrong with it after the fact.Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

That's way up north in the state. Maybe someone in the Chicago area might be able to help you. I live downstate, or I would help.

I'm not too far from Volo - is it at the Volo Auto Museum or is it a private seller?

I've never heard anything bad about the Volo Auto Museum, actually, they are the ones that did the appraisal on my baby when I got her back from the paint shop last spring. The guy who did my appraisal seemed quite knowledgeable about Vettes, so I'd have a good feeling if I thought about buying one from them.

I must say I'm far from being an expert when it comes to "numbers matching" and engine inspections. I would, however, be willing to check it out and tell you what condition the paint / interior, etc... is in.

Let me know if you're interested (email or PM me with the specifics on the car if you don't want to post them here).

Yarls--
You're from Heyworth? That is so random. Heyworth is my home town. I moved to Springfield about two years ago after finishing school. I'll be waving the next time I am in town! As for checking out the car, I am too far away as well.

Bryan, small world huh. I am not originally from Heyworth, but have lived here for 7 years now. Let me know when you might be around town, we can get together. You know during the summmer sometime, Heyworth has their little car show. Hope to see you there this year.

Yeah, I remember that show from a few years ago. I actually found out about it by accident. I ran into town to get some buns and saw all these cool cars littering the streets! I had forgotten all about it, but keep in touch, and I will try to make it back this year.

I live 20 minutes from the Volo Museum and own a 1970 BB . If you are still interested in having someone look at it, let me know.
