1984 Interior lighting question
I just got an 84 vette and I can't see the AC/Heater controls at all when it gets dark. Are they supposed to light up?

Yes they should. I assume it's similar to my 85. There should be two bulbs. Wire color code Grey and BLK. Once again, assuming it's similar to the 85.

On an 84...just a panel ...no lights...The only light is in the button of the rear defroster if your car came with that option.

lights
On my '84 all the AC/Heat controls are backlit by a light that is very pale greenish-blue.

Are you sure Matt...I just went to the garage...I have no lights and the letters and diagrams are stenciled on.

The panel is lit by 2 bulbs...you have to remove the center console piece then remove the A/C control to replace the lamps.
