Default 89 vette in dire need of help......

Well, my problems continue. Unfortunatly, I have had the car for 4 weeks now, and I drove it 500 to get it home without a hitch. Now I have managed to have it towed 3 times, it left me stalled at pretty every corner here in my town. I have changed the fuel pump, relay, filter, and the ECM. Sometimes it starts, sometimes it doesn't. The norm is when you turn the ignition on, the fuel pump energizes for about 2-3 seconds, right?? Most of the time, mine does not. When it actually does, it dies out within 30 seconds or so. What would cause the pump to not get power?? I have ran the diagnostics, and well, I don't think that is working either, it flashed the 12 code a million times. NEED HELP

Track down the c4c5specialist using the search mode and send him a message. He is a vette mechanic in CT and is very helpful. Good luck.

all that proves is the ECU has no codes. A flashing 12 is normal.

I would check the fuel pump relays. something is not working in there.
