Default Skid Bars

Can I really just ignore the scraping my C5 makes when going into driveways, etc? Will the skid bars wear out?

Does anyone have any experience with the frame savers from A&A Engines http://www.aaengines.com? Are these worthwhile, or just overpriced nylon rollers available from your local hardware store?
Thanks

I have these on the "to get" list. Those that have them state that it has saved them from bottoming out numerous times. I am ordering mine from A&A Corvette, Andy Green. Don't know if this is the same Company as what you posted? While you are at it, look at his rocker rails.

www.AACorvette.com That is the Company that suppliedto all I have read about.

Thanks for the post. I take it you did not have a good experience with them. Can you elaborate?

I got the wheels. Before I modded my driveway, I needed them. They definately keep bars from being scrapped, and HELP front (it can stll scrape under painted front). Also if you pull too close to parking blocks, curbs, etc. they will ride up nicely for you.

If you need them, get them, otherwise forget them.
