My Corvette(s):
Default door window rubs on convertible top

Hi, I'm new to the forum and not sure if this subject has been discussed before. Could not find any prior posts with a search.

I have a 1998 Convertible and just recently both side windows started to catch the convertible top at the rear corner of the window when the doors are open and closed.

Local dealer was no help. Can not find a TSB on this subject.

Any one else have this problem? Will having the top adjusted fix this?

Thanks. Rick

Welcome to the forum.

I had the same problem with mine and had mine replaced due to the wear on the top. Check out Passenger side window adjustment roadster for adjustment instructions.

I also do believe that there is a tsb on verts pre 2002.

Good luck

Mike

I had the same thing on my 98 convert. Singledad is right, the url he gave you is the one I used to adjust my top and it worked fine. Just remember to make your adjustments the same on both sides so it will stay even. Good luck.
