yerme New Member Join Date: Jan 2003 Location: LA Posts: 13 My Corvette(s): 2001 black coupe	front bumper skid plate What is the skid plate underneath the front bumper supposed to do? I read somewhere that it is supposed to protect the front bumper, but since it is a few inches behind it, it don't understand how it works. I lost the drivers side part of the skid plate, will it do any harm if I don't replace it? Thanx in advance for the advice.
