Default 78 seat covers

I'm about ready to freshen up my interior. Carpet is no problem but I need covers for my seats. Problem is, mine came with the cloth inserts. I really like them during the Summer here in Texas and I can't find anyone that sells anything but the leather. Any place you know of that sells them other than going and having them custom made?

Default The Big Catalogs?

Not even the big catalogs have them? I'm surprised!
You may want to check The Portal here at CAC to see what you can come up with. The Portal lists many independent suppliers.

No one without exception that I have found sells the cloth. I really do not know why other than they can get more money for the leather or leather like covers. sorry..... If you find someone keep us posted.

I've heard people post that before. Any chance that a local upholstery shop could do them for you. Got to be cheaper than the leather.

Yeah, a friend of mine's Dad does upholstery and he tells me that his Dad has done them for people before. I'm not sure what kind of price to have them custom made is going to run. Looks like that's the way to go then.

While I'm on the subject of seats, my 96 has the sport seat. I'm looking for slip on covers to use occasionally to protect the leather. I see those for C4s in the catalogs also but they never seem to be for the sport seat. They jump up to the C5 sport seat. How much difference is there in the C5 sport seat? Any idea of a place to get those?
