Default newer camaro seats in 77???

Ladies and gentlemen,

leather seats for my 77 is pretty high with the covers then the install etc.. i was wondering if anyone has tried leather camaro or trans am seats? i found some1998 leather seats at a local salvage for $125 for both and they are in great shape. I know i would probably have to use my rails but has anyone tried???? pics??
if not camaro seats what other seats have you all tried and liked?

I looked at some aftermarket seats, Corbeau as I recall. The problem is the width. They only had one pair of seats, the A4's, that would fit without rubbing against either the center console or the armrests in the door.

Others have fit later model C3, C4 and C5 seats with little difficulty (do a search in this forum on seats, C4 seats or C5 seats and you should get some hits).

ive also seen pontiac fiero seats in the c3's.
