98 A4 Coupe Sebring Silver
Default part # for oil pan drain plug seal

i have two part #'s
3536966
14090908
both are listed as drain plug seals
which one is it and what's the difference?

I am no expert but the info available to me suggests the following.

3536966 appears to be an 'O' Ring, the seal under the head of the plug appears to be captive on the plug and not listed separately.

This may help or provoke one of our knowledgeable members to put us right.
