Default window seals

hey all,

where can i get weather stripping at a decent price? i need mainly the seals that are on the door that seal the inner door from the elements.... (top of door between glass)... also the rubber at the top fron of each door and the piece that stops the grass from "rattling" in and out........ its wobbles badly when its rolled part way down........ ive seene ecklers and ppl selling it on ebay for prices that are way killer, there has to be a place with a price that doesnt cost an arm and a leg(need them to drive).........

Thanks
Tony

Tony,

I just ran this search in the Corvette Portal for "weatherstripping". The first one listed, Corvette Rubber, usually runs specials. Of course all of the big catalog outfits sell it too.

Sounds like you need more than WS. The "inner" seals fit on the door panels. The outer seals fit on the door itself. The outer seals are a rubber/metal combo with special "pop" fasteners. They run about $120 or so per pair. Not sure about the cost of the inners. The "bumpers" are those felt covered gizmo's that keep the window from rattling. As I remember, there are 2 per door. They're available for a few dollars each. GM might still sell these, as I bought one awhile ago, and it had a metric nut. Chuck
