Default Slight leak around rear seal of tran/driveshaft

Its the seal at the very rear of the trans where the driver shaft enters...Its collecting oil around this area, but is not dripping on the floor ...Is this a seal that I could replace myself or should it be taken to a shop ...Thanks

If it never makes it to the floor I would leave it...but that's just me.

A drop of oil every now and then on a car that is 12 years old is not worth wrenching on for a drop of oil. JMO.

Another quick way to find out just how much is leaking is to completely clean the entire area and then monitor how much it leaks after the car is driven. Doesn't really sound like anything too serious though.
