Default Who makes the quietest sidepipes???

OK guys, you going to think I'm over the hill and maybe I am but after a two hour trip with my 454 with factory sidepipes I get a headache!I drove the car to one of my places of business in the next county some 130 miles round trip. It's like being inside a steel drum while someone is beating it with a hammer. Who makes the quietest side exhaust mufflers?
I do like the sidepipes for looks but the noise takes a lot of enjoyment out of the car.

Default Quite?

the problem i have with the side pipes is they dump the volume of there roar at the side door....next to your ear....with good headers and mufflers out the back, the roar is behind you and makes your vette much more enjoyable to cruise in....my opinion ....im no expert.....i also like the look of sidepipes but....

i hope it helps..

You could put those Fake side pipes on, I'm sure you've seen them on some hot rods. That is if you are just adding them for looks.

...I believe he has a product called Spiral Tube something-or-other for sidepipes, and he may have the solution for you if it is quieter.

Yes Scott has them on his car and in fact he is a distributor for them on the C3 Shark Tank (see my sig)

Go to

http://www.c3sharktank.com/store/store3.html

for more info..
