If anyone can recommend a good Paint Shop in PA that has a lot of experience with Vettes, please let me know!
Thanks!

Did you check in the Portal for listings? Also check with local and area Corvette clubs for references. Car shows of all kinds are another place to find out who is good and who to stay away from.
If you find a good shop please submitt it to the Portal so others will know.

Adam, I bought my 79 Coupe at County Corvette in Westchester, PA and trailered it back to Michigan. Jim Jordan was my contact. A great crew that has been doing Corvettes all models for at least 25+ years. Check out www.countycorvette.com to get in touch. Good luck!

I see that County Corvette is listed in the Portal with a 5 star rating.

I stopped at that shop several years ago. It was very impressive. It is near the Downingtown exit off the PA turnpike near Exton. It truly is about 3 miles from the TP. Had everything from Vettes to classic chevys that I saw, I was pawning off 69 parts there. Good luck

Yes, I contacted them. They want $10,000-$12,000!!! I'm not going to pay more for a paint job, then the car would sell for (even AFTER the paint job)!!

I've found that I get what I pay for. Good Luck.

I agree, but still, TEN GRAND!?!?!
I'm not planning on entering the car in shows, I just want people to not be grossed out when they see it driving down the street.

I had county corvette redo my entire dash cluster. I was pleased their work on that, but do not know about their painting. 10 large is a lot of money. I can tell you who NOT to go to.:( Classic

If you really have a list of who to avoid, I'd like to hear it.
Thanks!

Adam, you have a long PM. Classic
Classic,
If you don't mind, would you mind sending me a copy? I lived in York from 93-96 (and was in the YCCC), so I'd especially like to know in case it was "local" to you.
