Default LT1 Gremlins swarmed me!!!

I wouldn't trade my car for all the tea in China, but sometimes you just have to ask yourself if you've been living right. My waterpump gave up the ghost over New Years, taking out the optispark in the process (of course), and while checking everything out I discovered that the danged intake manifold was leaking oil again.

I have the parts on order and will get everything fixed up within a couple of weeks. When it rains it pours......coolant, oil, etc.

The cheapest I could find an opti in this area was in excess of $700. Thank goodness I have a much more reasonable source.

$700 is outrageous ...I had to replace mine ...the local Chevy dealer quoted me $384 !

In the end, I bought a new cap off eBay and fixed my old one for less than $100 ...

HOLY CRAP $700 is a rip off. I will email you an address for a wholesaler.

I replaced all the items you mention minus the Opti but will be doing that soon. It's not too bad for me though because i do all my own repairs. Yup, have ordered from TLD. Sometimes JF is cheaper and sometimes TLD is cheaper. Depends on the part.
