Default 1988 headlight motors and window motors

I just bought a 1988. the head light motors run but the "gear" or "clutch" assembly seems to be bad, also I have a very lose drivers window that goes up and down intermittently
any help would be appreciated. can I rebuild the head light motors? if not how much? "please be gental"
Very new to this.,This is only my second toy I've been working on.

I also have an 88 red coupe. Sorry I can't help with the window. But I did redo both my headlights. There are 3 plastic bushings inside the gears that turn to powder. Go to Eclkers or Corvette Central and order a couple. About $5 a set. Instructions come with them and if you do a search on headlights you will also find plenty of "how to's". It's not a bad job if you are careful. Good luck. Headlights were the first things I attempted on mine. Don't get new motors till you do this first because 95% of the time that's the problem.

This should give you some insight on rebuilding your headlight motors... http://www.corvettemagazine.com/2001...ghts/head1.ASP

As far as the window...you need to take the door panel off and have a look see...
