Default ZR1 or Not?

How would I know if my Vette is a ZR-1 or not. None of the documentation says. I have the original dealers window sticker from 1993 and the manual. it has a 5.7L V8 engine. I feel really stupid asking this. But help me if you can.

Stan,

1. The ZR-1 has it's own unique Vehicle Identification Number

2. The rear end is 3 inches wider than the standard Corvette

3. The ZR-1 was built from 1990 to 1995 with the unique LT5 engine which only came with RPO ZR-1.

This is three major points in a nutshell. For much more detailed information, see our 1990-1995 ZR-1 Center

The way I tell from a distance is the wider rear tires/rear end and the third brake light is mounted to the top of the hatch, not in the bumper.... there are a ton of minor differences, but those should give you the ability to tell a ZR1 from a standard 'vette with relative ease.

Also, if you pop the hood and say, "What the hell is that???" You might have yourself an LT-5 :grinsanta

I'm with Jay. If you go when you open the hood you have a ZR-1.

Yeah the first big indicator is you have a LT5 motor not a L98

it looks like this
