My Corvette(s):
1993 Red Convertible
Default Service Engine Soon

I am looking for a good source ( book ) that wiil describe the meaning of the various Service Engine Soon codes.

Not just a one liner, but something which tells me something I can work with regarding the various codes.

I have a 93' Convertible.

Rod.

I've had pretty good luck with my GM service manual. For the '96 at least, it's broken down into two books. Book 1 is for everything except the engine and tranny. Book 2 covers the engine and tranny down to the last nut and bolt.

They are pretty expensive (100.00+) but IMO worth every penny. Much more indepth than a Chiltons or Haynes manual. The GM service manuals are avalible from Helm Inc. In Detroit. Their phone # is 1-800-782-4356.

Good luck,

Jason
