Default ID this antenna, please

The antenna on my car does not seem to be a standard whip. At the base, it has a spring mount, the body telescopes, and it has a 'bobbin' wrapped in copper wire at the top of the lowest section. If I had to guess, I'd guess CB? The car has an aftermarket CD player, so I don't know what the original head unit was.

Is this a stock antenna? If so, is it the CB antenna, like I suspect?

And, where can I get a replacement? I'm asking all these questions because it got damaged - it was extended, and I bumped the garage door button... the door caught it and folded it in half, which amazed me because I didn't even think to check the height of the antenna. I mean, when is the last time that you saw a garage door come anywhere close to an antenna?

Sounds like a CB.

Thanks. Any idea where I can get a replacement? I can't find it in Eckler's; everything they list in the radio section says 'without CB'.

Actually, while I'm at it, any idea what a stock CB unit would cost me?

If it were me (and I do run a CB for club runs), I would replace it with a standard AM/FM antenna. If you look at the "RIVER CITY CORVETTE CLUB" in Sacramento, CA there is a small "all in one" CB that is great for runs. They also have an antenna kit that works great. The unit is digital and everything is held in your hand.
I am assuming that you don't already have one mounted or build in to your car......If so, I have seen the AM/FM/CB antenna on Ebay at times..
