Well it turns out that this is 1953 Corvette #77. I wonder what it will sell for. I was looking at the pictures closer and I know that I have old car magazines with this Corvette in them. Around 1960 or so.

Should have left it stock. The front end looks like a Studabaker. Terrible way for #77 to end up.

It sold to ProTeam for $80,000 (plus commissions, etc) at BJ. See it's for sale at $120,000 today. Nice profit Chuck

I've seen the car in person and really like it. Every other 53 looks exactly the same. It is a part of the Corvette heritage just not an "original part.
