Default Shark Bar II - follow up

I got the new brackets yesterday for people with 81-82 electric drivers seats. I installed the brackets today and it took about 30 minutes, which was taking my time. The brackets mount under the drivers seat because it has threaded pins with nuts that attach underneath the floor pan. Mounting the brackets was real easy and I didn't have to take the seat out, just lift it up and move it forward, put the rear brackets in then slide the seat back, lift the front of the seat to install the front bracket then bolt it all down. I also installed a Halotron fire extinguisher on the passenger side, I used this type because it doesn't leave a huge mess like dry-chemical ones do. And we've seen far too many older Vettes burned up, better safe than sorry.

Here's some updated pictures Shark Bar II - page 3

Looks good Scott. A fire extinguisher is a good idea in these older cars.

Thanks Tom. When I get my store up and running I'll be giving CAC members a discount on them, I'll have them for all years too not just C3's.

cruzer-

I sent you a message as I don't want to get on Rob's bad side by selling stuff without being a forum advertiser. Once the store is ready I'll let Rob know and he can decide if it's OK to post about it. Rob stays happy and we all stay happy
