Welcome to I hope you enjoy it here!

By one owner do you mean that only 1 person has owned it in a life time, or it is not shared by married people? and are u talking about just '62 Corvettes? becuase not many people own a '62 vette here, most own C3 or C4 Corvettes.

By one owner, I was refering to cars only sold and kept by its first owner.

Since this is the C1 ('53-'62) Forum (not the C3 or C4 Forum), there are lots of 62's here

Hello John Z, C 1`s should be here. But it`s a little different on this site. How about if I ask original owner and still has it. Corvettes that is!

Welcome to the Corvette Action Center Wally.

That's a nice looking '62. Love black. Once in a while I hear of a one owner solid axle but not often. My wife ordered her '81 and took delivery in Oct. '80. It now has 50,000 on it and still looks new. My '59 has been a one owner since '69 but it's first 10 years saw at least 5 owners judging from the number of repaints. I can't figure why anyone bought this car if they didn't like the color.

Tom

Welcome Wally,

My dad bought my '60 new and I inherited it when he passed in '99. It is now willed to my son who is 2 1/2. Does that count?
