1958 exhaust

Looking to replace the exhaust system on my '58. Is Corvette Central the best source? They list all the parts, but I wonder how well it all fits together, without having to take it to a muffler shop for modifications. Any help??

I've used both CC and Paragon systems, and both fit quite nicely. Just be prepared to spend some time under the car finessing clamps and hangers to get the front pipes centered properly in the holes in the frame so they don't rattle. Same drill at the rear, getting them fit properly through the "tunnels" and out through the bumper - just takes time and patience. Work from front to rear, and just snug things up until you get the clearances you want - don't tighten the clamps all the way until you get each side the way you want it.
