Default Missing that snap you neck acceleration. Where to check first?

For some reason, I have noticed that my acceleration is off a tad bit. It just doesn't have that snap your neck and pin you back speed. (at least not as much as I want) Even with my configuration and less than 10K on the entire setup, will this relatively high rear ratio of 3.07 not produce the type of acceleration that I want?

This car is lightning fast at the top end and shifting at ~100-125+, it takes off like a bandit. I have heard that 3.73s are nice but not nearly the BLAST for the dollar.

Should I contemplate a switch to a really good distributor?
(MSD Pro Billet?) Are Bosch Platinum+4s and Moroso BlueMax Spiral wires good?

Thanks!

from what i remember about your setup... you have a high RPM, high HP setup... if I am right about that, then you won't get that break-neck speed at low RPM's, but you will at higher rpm
