Default Planning new purchase

I am in process of purchasing an '09' and want to know about any additional 'anti theft' devices that can be installed? We plan on an extended road trip that will take us thru major cites and we will be parking the vette overnight and was hoping for some extra security besides sleeping in the car but who knows we might do that any way .
Thanks

That is a good question. At the moment I have to rely on the stock disable and alarm systems and Onstar (which would only help with the recovery). I will be interested to hear answers.

Not much interest here, I was hoping itwould be something as easy as removeing the coil wire , but there should be a module or something that would render the car dead with out it, hope so any way. We will see.

Theft insurance! That's your best protection. No matter what devices you install if they want it they are going to take it. Doesn't take long to load it onto a truck if they are pros.

I have read that Corvettes are somewhat low on the list of autos being stolen.
