Default C6 hydraulic clutch

Does anyone have a schematic diagram of the C6 hydraulic clutch mechanism?

Also, do today's high performance engines in some respect require a hydraulic linkage mechanism instead of the purely mechanical linkage set ups of the old days?

Thanks....

"Require?" Nah.
It's all about "pedal effort" and ease of modulation today.
