2008 convertible oder

I just bought a 2008 convertible. I love the car but the smell of glue brings tears to my eyes. I thought it was just the smell of a new car but its something else. Has anybody else had this problem?

there is a dealer notice out from GM that says the odor is normal and will dissapate with time. some folks are not pleased but that's the company line for now. if you park inside, try leaving windows cracked to help the process.

Yes- my 08 Vette from day 1 had that glue smell...Still there (3 months later)...
