Default Is it hard to do your own brake job?

I've done plenty but never on my vette. Anything different about changing out the pads ?

I changed all my pads and my rotors,if you've done brakes before you won't have a problem. When I changed the rotors I had a hard time breaking the bolts to get the rotors off (from the heat I guess) but other than that there's not much to it,especially if you're changing just the pads. Most of the pads come with the thin metal damper that sticks on the pad to keep it from squeaking,be sure and not forget to put those on.While I had my calipers off I bought some good high heat red caliper paint and painted them.I took some of that blue painter's tape and taped off the corvette letters on the calipers. Then I took an exacto knife and cut off the excess tape.It took about an hour or so per side to prep, tape off the letters and paint each caliper. It is tedious work but it is worth it.I did this over a year ago and they still look really nice, they are not faded or anything.Just thought I would share that idea with you.

Thanks !, I had a rubbing sound , seems to be flaking inside my rims. I've done plenty of brakes before , looks like I can let it wait. Some high heat red would look nice.
