Corvette Spectacular

Hi,

I want to invite everyone to this years Corvette Spectacular Car Show, which will be held September 7 2008, in downtown Los Alto California. This will be the largest all Corvette event this year in Norhern California. Last year we had over 220 Corvettes in attendance, and it gets larger every year.

Besides the cars we have Live Music, a huge raffle, vendors, many resturaunts & shops, and a fantastic downtown location.

I hope to attend again this year. I've got to remember to renew my membership, though. I thoughtlessly let it lapse and I keep forgetting to send the check! :(

Hi Erik - Glad to hear you plan to make the event this again year. We have plans to make this the best show yet.

Although I would be happy to see your membership renewal come in, remember that you do not have to be a club member to enter & enjoy the show.

I came to a sad realization over the weekend: The Spectacular is on the same day as the 49ers first home game of the season.

As a season ticket holder, opening day takes precedence. . . I just wish I didn't have to make the choice. :(

I'm pretty sure I did sign up a friend and his '66. . .

I don't see it as much of a choice...Best Corvette show in Northern California, hang out with a bunch of friends, listen to live music from the Jack Aces, win some great raffle prizes...or watch a mediocre football team loose their opening game. :bash

I agree that it's a tough choice. . . and the Jack Aces rock! :)

I still haven't used the oil change I won last year! :D

What you want to do is schedule the Spectacular for the Raiders opening day. Anything we can do to keep those folks out is a good idea. . .not that many can afford Corvettes. :P

Looks like you are going to miss the biggest Corvette Spectacular yet. We currently have 95 Corvettes pre-registered. Last year in a show that hosted 221 Corvettes, we had 84 pre-registrations, so I am expecting an even larger attendence then last year. :D
