I was wondering if anybody needed a spare Challenge motor. I have the spare from the Doug Rippe Motorsports team that was never used. It still has the tape and paint on the bolts. As I understood when I purchased it, it was sold to another team by DRM after they won the championship, and it was never used by the second team. My father has just been diagnosed with Leukemia, so I will be selling some of my collection of Corvette parts to help fund his recovery at MD Anderson.
Please let me know if anybody needs this motor.
Best regards,
Anthony
I don't need the engine, but I'm very sorry to hear about your father. That's how my mother died.

Like jhecox, I don't need the motor, but wish your father, you and your family the best of luck in dealing with this disease. I spent a lot of time at MD Anderson with my best friend who was also dealing with leukemia. The people there at the hospital were great and they're very capable. My prayers are with you.

Anthony, sorry, no need for what sounds to be a cool motor however, I wanted to say, hang in there :cool My wife is a cancer survivor due to modern medicine and faith.
Take care.

Thanks for the support everybody; my father is doing very well there, and luckily, he has the M-2 variety, and the favorable 8/21 chromesome translocation, which is the best one to have with a very high curable success rate. He is in great, but expensive hands, so watch for some of my rare parts such as Callaway runflat wheels, Dymags, turbos, cat backs, rare 1989 ZR1 wide rear wheels with the center cap, unused ZR1 set of Gatorbacks, 1989 ZR1 7000k digital tach dash, and more to surface here or ebay.
Best regards, and thanks for the support,
Anthony
