I understand in the U.S. your paying $3.75 to $4.25 a gallon ????
Our old gallon was 25% bigger than your U.S. gallon.
Canada has converted to metric and we buy our gas by the litre.
4.56 litres in 1 Canadian gallon.
4.56 x $1.41(premium)=$6.42 a Canadian gallon
$5.14 a U.S. gallon
Regular gas is $1.27 a litre or $5.79 a Canadian gallon
$4.63 a U.S. gallon:mad
Geez I'm glad the car gets 27 mpg hwy

Using my handy dandy conversion calculator, that works out to $4.81 per US gallon for regular and $5.34 for premium. Seems a bit steep, wot? Especially since we're selling the oil to youse guys in the first place!!

ps: I copied this thread to the Off Road Lounge for wider exposure!

I'm just across the crik from you in vette naimo. Small world !!!!:w
I posted the gas info because someone down south was complaining about gas prices at $4.00 a U.S. gallon (3.6 litres). That's about $4.80 for our 4.5 litre Canuck Gallon.
Don't get over to the Big Smoke much, just work (tour bus).
Take care:beer
P.S. You should take a run up to Kelowna on 16,17,18th of May.Should be a great Corvette meet.

We pay more taxes on our gasoline which pushes the price up... plus we've got some socialist politicians who sincerely believe it's a good idea for us to pay even more taxes on all fuels in the form of "carbon taxes" (whatever that's supposed to mean) and David Suzuki (our homegrown version of Al Gore) thinks it's a great idea.

Mac,
Good one! I'm still snickering! :boogie
How about a little home-grown carbon-tax protest? We could all drive over to David's house and do some smoky burn-outs at the end of his driveway! :D (Just kidding!)
