Default what wax are you using

Now i'm sure this question has been asked thousands of times but rather than ask the "whats the best wax" question...how about whats new out there and what have been your results..... i myself know that every year i go out and buy something new looking for that ultimate shine without having to scrub my behind off to get it.....

this year so far i have tried the new meguiars NXT GENERATION™ TECH WAX™ 2.0 and i have to say it went on nice and easy and came off without really having to bust my butt and left a nice shine..now we shall see how it holds up......

I've been using Adams Products for the past two years. My husband swears by Collinite for his '02.

I use Zaino. The finishing spray each time I wash and dry her and the "works" at least once per year - washing with Dawn, claybarring, Z-5 and CS.

Meguiars M21...lasts the longest of any other products I've used in the past. Super slick feel, wet-look gloss and fills swirl marks.
I tossed NXT in the trash.

Nice cars, Junk. What is with the C5 Z06? Is there a blower hiding under that domed hood?

I quit doing the "wax thing" years ago (sometime in the 1980s). The reason was that two weeks after application the car looked like I did nothing to it after preparing the paint and apply a section at a time and then trying to get all of the white residue off including the weather stripping. (I had Lots O' Fun.... NOT!) I let others detail my car for years afterward. My philosphy has always been "if you can't protect it, you can't make it look good." I know some people are only concerned about the "look" of the car and don't care about what they are putting on it.

In 2000 while waiting for the 2001 coupe, I decides to research the technology and attempt to find a product that dealt with all of the problems and shortcomings inherent in wax and specifically the durability problem. There were also other ingredients mixed in with the wax that I didn't know about that I didn't want on my vehicle's paint. After a couple of months researching and talking to various people, I had a non-local Zaino distributor send me a "starter kit" he put together for me special. I think what finally made up my mind to get a starter kit was that other vendor's products were being compared to Zaino. (Remember, I never heard of the product prior to May of 2000.) I was immediately impressed after I tried it on my father's pickup truck. I haven't looked back.

A local distributor was introduced to me about a year later and after he changed careers, he asked if I would like to take over the local distributorship. After Sal Zaino agreed to the change, I became the local distributor. I can't eat on the money I make on Zaino in a years time so I'm not in to being a distributor for the money. I do it because I like to talk to people about detailing and I have an outlet to protect and keep all of my cars looking good. I even get to try a few products before they are available to the general public. I respect others opinion when it comes to using other products (competition is good) but I'm also a staunch defender of the Zaino product line when I hear about mis-information. (i.e., Making a sale at Zaino's expense.)

Sal Zaino constantly improves his products and understands paint technology. He owned a body and paint buiness for 30 years. When a new product is introduced on to the market he immediately tries it and has it analyzed. He's dedicated to keeping his product the best on the market. He's answered all of my questions regarding my customers problems and some are very difficult so I believe him when he tells me his product is the best on the market.
