My Corvette(s):
2002 Torch Red vert
Default Need C5 lumbar pump motor

Need a C5 "02 vert Sport seat lumbar pump motor. Mine runs w/ a" growl" and turns about 1/3 speed. Removed it and lubed it-w/o results. It still runs slow and does nothing.It seemed to have partially melted its pouch.[overheated?] Bladders and connections/hoses look fine. Has anyone resolved the same problem w/o a stealership, a bag of money and jar of vaseline ??? I havn't been able to find any salvage lumbar motors so far. Altho, i just missed one on Ebay. Or- Can my old one be rebuilt?
Thanks
