My Corvette(s):
2000 Convertible
Default Headlights will not close automatically

I replaced my low beam headlight bulbs with an HID system. I have done this to my other cars with no problems. These are plug and play units. The lights work as advertised except the headlight buckets do not close when the lights are turned off. It seems like they move closed about a 1/4 inch then suddenly stop when the lights are turned off. They do open and close with the manual operation knob. With the lights down and off, they open and operate normally. I cannot see anything interfering with the movement, and as stated they work manually. I had to manually move the headlight buckets up and down several times during installation. Is there a setting for the manual knob that I need to adjust?
