Default Did you get your "Economic Stimulus Payment Notice"???

I did....

And per standard IRS communications procedures, it used grids lots of ** as qualifiers, and the typical nondescript confusing bureaucratic language.

I appreciate the letter, but it really wasn't necessary for it to be written at a 12th grade level...

How much money do you think that the Fed is spending to tell you about something you already know about?

I thought the exact same thing when I opened my nice little notice. How much tax payers money was waisted on this?

That was my point. It is just like the government to waste our tax money telling us something we already know.

Wow, $42m to tell me something that I already knew.

Here's an idea, they could have had a seperate lotery, and for $5 per ticket you could get the chance to win that $42m. They could have printed the info they wanted to repeat to us on the tickets. That way the $42m would have been self funded, someone would have gotten some good use out of all this, and they would probably been money left over for the IRS.

$42 mil! That's a smart way to spend our tax dollars!

You have to wonder if there is anyone out there that will get a refund check and say "I wonder what this is for." or better yet "we were not supposed to get this check. Better send it back."
