Corvette crashes into two cars in Boxley Hills community

A Corvette and two other cars are smashed up after a crash in Roanoke County on Friday night.

It happened on Sierra Drive, a residential street in the Boxley Hills community.

The Corvette, driven by Robert Hale, apparently crashed into a pick-up truck and a car parked along the street.

We don't know how fast the Corvette was going, but the impact forced both vehicles several feet from where they were parked.

Hale's been charged with reckless driving.

Just because you can afford a Corvette doesn't mean you should own a Corvette.

Again, as I've asked before, what brand were the other two vehicles? If it had been a Taurus would the headline read; "Taurus Crashes into two cars in Boxley Hills community"?
I bet a Taurus could move those vehicles more feet than a Corvette.

It is definitly a shame that one of our Corvette family couldn't control their parental instincts. remember the wave.

Just cause it is a vette it makes headlines. It really don't take that much speed to move a couple vehicles "several feet" what is several feet ? adjective
1. being more than two but fewer than many

seems to me 20 mph could move a couple cars 2 ft.

BTW I didn't bother to look at the video. Seems to me someone is obsessed with posting these things.

Glenn
