Default Ghosts ????

Ok, a 40 year old intelligent gal claims when she lived at home she turned the radio up so as not to hear the female ghost that resided there.
She has ghosted many times prior.

Her parents are taliking about moving to a ranch style home.
Mom claims two checks that were in a drawer disappeared for couple days and then returned.

Daughter says, "maybe ghost, whm she names, is upset because they are taling of moving". Whatever, whatever.

I'm not sure I can believe that a ghost can handle objects.

What say yee?
PM if U care to.

I don't disbelieve in ghosts or spirits or whatever you want to call them. But I've not had any personal experiences to relate.

My best friend does though. She saw a person - not some ghostly apparition but what appeared to be a young woman in her mom's hundred year old house one day when she was there alone while visiting.

She actually saw her on two different occasions and didn't tell me about it until after the second time. I suppose she had too many doubts after the first time it happened.

The first time, she went all through the house to be certain no one had come in without her being aware of them. The second time she followed the woman into the guest bedroom at the front of the house and watched her vanish in the middle of the room.

This is one of the most level headed, intelligent people I know and there's no question I believe her without a doubt.

I don't know. Some pretty reliable people tell some strange tails.
Handling of material things just doesn't figure.

My moms cleaning lady, Terri, lost her mother last year.
She told me that her mom used to leave dimes around the house for the kids to find. Just in unusual places, like on the closet floor, or under a dresser, or in a corner on the carpet.
After she died, Terri started finding dimes all over the place. She found them in her house and in the peoples houses she cleans. I have seen them in my mom's house in closets, under dressers.
As the house is cleaned every week, and vacuumed every week, the dimes keep turning up on a fairly regular basis.
I know my mom isn't dropping them in the bedroom, and in closets, so we just say "Terri's mom has been here".

I don't know what to believe. I grew up in an area where ghost stories were the norm and people accepted such. I guess it's the old battle of the heart versus the brain. There's so much of this world which we don't understand.

I guess anything is possible.

These guys have captured some interesting stuff on video, thermal, voice recordings, etc. All I can say is I would find it uncomfortable to live in a home that has unexplainable things going on.

I believe in them but have never seen one. I would imagine if I did I'd probably run.

The closest I've been to such was years ago when looking at real estate before our last transfer (7+ years ago) both my wife and I separately "reacted" to one particular bedroom in a vacant house. As soon as each of us walking into the room, there was a sense of dread which is hard to describe.

We were talking about it outside when our realtor come outside after shutting off the lights and locking up. He looked rather pallid, enough so that I asked what was wrong. He said he'd gone into the bedroom on the lower level to shut off the lights and his skin started crawling. Same bedroom where we'd felt the sense of dread. Bizarre.
