Default Pace car spoiler

I'm about to buy a pace car spoiler (original, used) to put on my '74, but I'm a bit curious how the spoiler is fastened, especially in the top part on the sides. How does the original mount look? Do I have to drill right thru the fender, or should there be some kind of mounting bolt bonded to the inside of the fender?

Milo30,
Thanks for the info but this is the front spoiler, the 3-piece.
I have bought a spoiler, but not seen it yet. I guess it will be obvious when I get the spoiler, but the question now is if I have to drill my front fenders.

OK, the front one is suppose to pretty easy and straight forward on how it mounts. Post a pic and let us know how it goes. I am thinking of adding this to mine also along with the rear spoiler.

Pretty much bolt on, at least on a 78'. At most you'll have to drill a couple of holes.

Here's the rear.
