I just got this email from Nancy. If we get enough interest we get first shot at this stuff.. This is in conjunction with this event http://www.corvetteactioncenter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=102506&highlight=Mid+America

This is stuff that has accumulated since Funfest, returns, scratch and dent and what have you.. The important thing here is ... This stuff has not been picked through by anyone and we have first shot at it. We need people and to show interest to get them to unpack it, otherwise it stays packed up until Spring Swapfest in May.

Here is the email I received.

Good Morning-

Kenny Yager and I talked this morning and he has a bunch of scratch and dent items that he is considering to get out for the group of corvette owners on March 15th. Do you think that more members would attend if we do this? Kenny doesn’t want to go through the work unless we have at least 25 corvette owners here.

We’re thinking of opening the pre-swapfest area from 8am to 11am to your clubs only and then having lunch and the corporate tour. We will finish the day with a tour of Performance Choice.

What do you think?

When will you be able to tell us for sure if they will bring out the items? Not that I mind the drive but it would not be fun to go all that far and have there be nothing to look through!

So sorry Randy, We have enough people to make it happen !!!!! The only thing I need a head count for now is if you want lunch and the tour. :beer
Be sure and be there early, we get to pick through the goodies between 8 and 11 am.

I am getting good response as time gets closer.
Several calls and several emails! This was posted on CAC , CF, Digital Corvettes, C3VR, and STLC3Sharks website, as well as announced in the local club meetings, not to mention the people I called that just drive Vettes and are not affiliated with a club or forum



Accuweather says 56 and sunny so far. I hope they get it half right and it is at least sunny :L

I just hope it doesn't snow!! I really need to get the vette out on a road trip.
