Instrument panel flickers on/off

Very weird thing happened today. I've noticed slight flickering of the speedomoter and gas gauge lit panel. But today, I had a rolling start, hit the gas and for about 1 second, the tach dropped to zero, speedometer panel went out and the radio stopped. This was all very briefly, 1 second at most. I tried a few times to stop hard or hit the gas to try to reproduce this, but couldn't. Has this happened to anyone before? Could some connection in the instrument panel be loose?

I've had this too. I've learned that there are 4 lamps 2 on each side that illuminate the central display (mine are all digital, yours is hybrid). Mine sometimes dims or goes all out on the left side, then comes back on after a bump, or if I thump it. I figure it's a loose bulb, or connection. I'll do something about it when it goes out totally. I wont fix it until it breaks
