View Full Version : what identifies a Callaway T04 from another?

Hi Chris,
Wastegate control location.
Whether it has both coolant and oil circulating.
There are few other small things but these come to mind first.

Stan, Thanks! I may have to place one on the side of a milk carton since it seems to be quite an elusive turbo... Is there a pic of one somewhere? Thanks again.
We still have the ones off Shane's car but one is a real mess and the other I did not check. I will see if it is in one piece and if so will email you a few pics.
This may well help everyone else too.
Great suggestion...............
Take care,
Stan

I have a spare on the self. If I get a few minutes I'll take some pics and post them.
These are the units off Shanes car. Both failed during Shane's drag strip experience.

Hi Guys,
The turbos off Shane's car are unassembled. In pieces!! Cannot get good pictures at this time.
I have another idea... I will get to everyone.

Can you get one or two more pics of just the entire turbo from several angles. If you will shoot them in 640x480.
Everyone wants to see an over all picture of the turbo unit itself.
Thanks,
Stan

It looks like it's standard practice to grind off one side of the bolt that holds the impeller. I wonder why? The used one I bought is like that too. I wasn't sure if it was just that one or not. Good to know that mine is "normal". :D
