2011 GS starting problem
I have a brand new 2011 grand sport. When you push the start buton the car does not start and there are a series of about 15 loud clicks that come from the engine area. The gauges and kights come on as if it is running and the clicks stop but the engine hasn't started. I am assuming that it may be a low battery issue because the battery voltage is only 11.2 volts. I may need to buy a battery tender. Any ideas. thanks for helping a rookie.

How long has it been since the engine was last run?

ran it for a couple of minutes when i pulled it out of garage to program the door opener and started it 3-4 timesto show friends. i have not driven it yet due to being just delivered new yesterday. i have also spent quite a while in the car getting familiar with the controls etc. that is why i assume that it may be a battery issue at 11.2 volts on my meter.

I would have to concur... 11volts is too low!
